OUR SPA, OUR TEAM

We are a beautiful new full-service spa located in Chamblee-Brookhaven, GA (inside the perimeter of Atlanta). The spa is a locally owned and operated unit of the national franchise, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (over 300 locations nationally). The shopping center has a number of high-traffic retailers/restaurants/service businesses, and has been recognized for its “Green” design principles. It is also readily accessible by foot/bike via a trail, by MARTA (as well as by car).

Our mission is to promote the long-term of health and wellness of our clients, to be a positive force in the local community, and to further the professional and personal development of our team.

The Spa Manager Position responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the spa
  • Leading a staff of licensed service professionals (massage therapists, estheticians)
  • Delivering outstanding customer experiences in spa services and retail operations
  • Achieving financial results, including meeting membership and retail sales goals
  • Handling administrative tasks including, but not limited to, payroll, bank deposits, scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
  • Human resource functions for spa associates, massage therapists and estheticians including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching/mentoring, disciplining, terminating, and ensuring compliance with state/city-required HR requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays
  • Strong organizational/planning and computer skills (Millennium-experience a PLUS)
  • Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line
  • Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of both massage therapy and facials
  • Participating in recommended training programs, conferences, and other aspects of professional development
  • Marketing and promoting the spa to local businesses and organizations
